Tis the Season
For Christmas Parades....

Mrs. Joy Privett served as the Grand Marshall for the annual Arab Christmas Parade Thursday night.  Privett is the Arab Chamber of Commerce 2007 Outstanding Citizen of Achievement Award recipient.

Near perfect weather helped to bring out large crowds for the 2007 Arab Christmas Parade last Thursday night.  The weather was cool but not too cold and there wasn't a hint of rain.  Parade goers were treated to floats, bands, antique cars and a wide range of entries.  Of course Santa was high atop the Arab Fire Department ladder truck to kick off the Christmas season.

Winners in the float competition were: 1st Place Cub Scout Pack 60, 2nd Place Grassy Raiders and 3rd Place Hopewell Baptist Church.                 Additional photos....
