Snow of Year Blankets Area

Snow flakes were falling fast
and furious Wednesday afternoon as these photo was taken.

Large flakes of wet snow
blanketed the Brindlee Mountain area Wednesday evening as
the first significant snow event of the year moved through
the area. Grass, cars and trees quickly became covered
with the sticky stuff but there was little affect on area
roads.
This photo taken by Dana Smalley, in her grandparents Jerrel and Louise Smalley’s yard. Dana is a kindergarten teacher at APS and is the daughter of Dan and Mary Nell Smalley.
