New Ambulance Ready For Service
April 9, 2008
The Arab
Fire Rescue service has a new tool to help
in the delivery of emergency care to the
area. Chief Ricky Phillips said the
new $132,000 ambulance arrived Monday and
was put into service almost immediately.
The $29,000 per year lease of the new
vehicle was approved by the Arab City
Council in late January (see
previous story). The
new unit will replace an older unit that has
become unreliable and too costly to repair.
