A car and motorcycle collision claimed the life of an Arab man Wednesday afternoon around 4 pm.  Billy Riggins, age 45, of 6th St SE in Arab, was transported to Marshall Medical Center North by Arab Fire & Rescue ambulance.  Riggins was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to witnesses, the motorcycle was traveling North on the Parkway when it was struck by a Dodge Intrepid driven by Rhonda Guger of Mat Morrow Road, Arab.  The Guger vehicle was crossing the North bound lane onto Golf View Drive.  Mrs. Guger was not injured.

The accident is being investigated by the Arab Police Department.
