Allen's Crossroads Man Killed
During Domestic Dispute

An Allen's Crossroads man was shot and killed by his wife Monday, August 25, according to Marshall County Sheriff Scot Walls. Walls said that officers recieved a call around 4:00 p.m. regarding a homicide at the home of mark and Dana Williams of 1334 Allen's Crossroads, Union Grove. Officer found Mark Williams, age 56, the apparent victim of multiple gunshots dead at the scene.

The officers arrested Dana Renaye Williams, age 47, at the scene and charged her with murder. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she is being held with no bond. Walls said the shooting was apparently the result of a domestic violence situation.

William's body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville for autopsy. Walls thanked several agencie for their assistance in the case: The Marshall County District Attorney's Office, Arab Police Department, Brindlee Mountain Fire Department and Samaritan EMS.
