Golf View & 231 Wreck Injures One

A two vehicle collision at the intersection of Golf View Dr NE and Brindlee Mountain Parkway caused one potentially serious injury Tuesday morning.  A Jeep Cherokee driven by Jackie Mills Maddux of Sam Gibbs Road, Union Grove, was apparently traveling West on Golf View and attempting to cross the Parkway when it was struck in the right side by a 2000 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Dennis Holmes of Huntsville.  Holmes was traveling South on the Parkway.

Maddux, who was alone in her vehicle, was thrown into the windshield and sustained a possible head injury.  She was treated at the scene by Arab Fire & Rescue personnel and then transported to Huntsville Hospital.  Holmes, who was also alone, was not injured and declined treatment.

The accident is being investigated by the Arab Police Department.
