The 7-8 year old Arab Knights softball team finished the season as the Marshall County League Champions by taking first place in the Marshall County post-season tournament held this past week at Grant.

There were a total of 18 teams in the league including teams from Arab, Albertville, Grant, Sardis, Boaz, and Douglas. The Knights defeated Boaz #2 9-5 in the semi-finals and Albertville #1 in a thrilling 13-12 victory in the finals.

The Arab Knights finished the season with a 16-2 record. They scored 165 runs while allowing only 59.
