Two people suffered minor injuries in a two car collision Monday afternoon at the intersection of U.S.  Hwy 231 and Eddy-Scant City Road.  Sherrie Nicole Head, age 26, of Arab was transported to Marshall Medical Center North by Arab Fire and Rescue ambulance.  Betty Perkins, age 55, of Lacey's Spring was checked by AFR medics at the scene but declined transport by ambulance.

Head, who was headed South on Hwy 231 driving a 2008 Ford Focus, was turning left onto Eddy-Scant City when her vehicle was struck in the passenger side by Perkins' 2007 Dodge Caliber, according to police reports.  Both cars were towed from the scene.   Arab Police, Arab Fire Rescue and Arab Rescue Squad personnel responded to the accident.
