Overturned Car Injures Two
One Flown From Scene

A one car accident Saturday night, seriously injured an Arab couple.  Richard Harris, and Jennifer Harris, were injured when they lost control of their Kia Spectra causing it to clip two trees, and burst into flames.

Jennifer Harris was flown to Huntsville Hospital by an Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter.  Richard Harris, age 24, was transported by Marshall Health System Ambulance.

Hwy 231 was blocked, and traffic was detoured around the scene for approximately 30-40 minutes while emergency crews treated the victims and a helicopter landing zone could be established.  Arab Fire Rescue, Arab Rescue Squad, and Arab Police responded to the wreck.  The wreck is being investigated by Alabama State Troopers.
