Several hundred Arab High School Band alumni, three former, and two current AHS band directors, shared memories and renewed friendships during a reception held in the directors honor Friday night.  The reception, a ground breaking ceremony for a new band building, and an awards ceremony, highlighted the pre-game events leading to the Arab-Boaz game.

Former band directors, Wayne Washam, Greg Faulkner, and former assistant director Jerry Day attended the event in addition to current director Paul Tallent and assistant director Amy Isom.  The five took part in the official groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a planned new band building.
