Watchful Neighbors and Quick Response Leads To Burglary Arrests

Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls has credited the watchfulness of neighbors and the quick response of deputies with the apprehension and arrest of three people from Arab.

Walls said deputies were called to a residence at 401 Baldwin Drive in the Grassy community early Sunday morning after neighbors saw a suspicious car and occupants.

“Thanks to the neighbors and deputies quick response, all three were arrested and taken to jail., said Sheriff Scott Walls.

Arrested were:

Halisha Anne Brandenbourg, age 28, of 317 4th ST SE Apt 552, Arab.  Brandenbourg was charged with Burglary 3rd, and Theft of Property.  Brandenbourg posted a $5,000 Bond.

Christopher Maze, age 19, of 364 Lookout Drive, Arab was charged with Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property.  Maze remained in jail Monday on a $10,000 Bond.

Justin Wade Brown, age 18, of 1010 Highland Drive, Arab was charged with Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property.  Brown remained in jail on Monday on a $2,500 Bond.

“Sheriff’s Investigators are still working to locate stolen property in the case and I would like to thank Arab PD for their assistance in this case”, Walls said.
