Arab Chamber President Resigns

November 10, 2009
Arab Chamber of Commerce President Deneille Dunn wants to spend more time with her family. To reach that goal she has decided to resign her position with the Arab Chamber and take another job with a local veterinary clinic. Dunn submitted her esignation to the Board of Directors yesterday but will remain at the Chamber through the end of the year.

Dunn said the Chamber job is a labor of love, but the volume of meetings and travel prevent her from spending the amount of time that she would like with her husband and son. Dunn became President when Melissa Cook left to take a similar job in Mississippi.

Board Chairman Patrick Smith said Dunn's replacement will likely be discussed at the next board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 18.
