	Frank McDaniel Will Not Seek Re-Election December 14, 2009 Democrat Frank McDaniel will not seek re-election to a sixth term in the Alabama House of Representatives. McDanie, who represents District 26, l made the announcement on Friday. In the announcement McDaniel said, “I appreciate the support and encouragement from so many people, both Democrat and Republican,” the Albertville legislator said. “I am beginning my 20th year in the Legislature and feel I need to be in position to spend more time with family and personal projects after completion of this term in November 2010.” McDaniel said that making his announcement now will help others decide on whether or not to seek the seat. He said that he plans to remain active in efforts to improve the future of the Sand Mountain residents.

Democrat Frank McDaniel will not seek re-election to a sixth term in the Alabama House of Representatives. McDanie, who represents District 26, l made the announcement on Friday.
