Arab Man To Hospital

An Arab man was injured Thursday afternoon in a one car roll-over accident on Friendship Road near Union Grove.  Justin Gilbert, age 22, was treated at the scene and transported to Marshall Medical Center North by Marshall Health System ambulance personnel.

Gilbert was head West toward New Friendship Church according to a friend who was following in another car.  Brittany Harp said that Gilbert evidently lost control in a curve causing the car to flip two times.  According to local residents, the stretch of road is particularly dangerous and has been the scene of numerous wrecks.

Union Grove Volunteer Fire personnel responded to the wreck scene to assist with emergency care and traffic control.  The accident is being investigated by Alabama State Troopers.
