Marshall Health System CEO Appointed To
Alabama Hospital Association Board

Marshall Health System CEO Gary Gore has been elected to the Alabama Hospital Association board of directors at its annual meeting. Gore will serve as an at-large member of the board.

Gore has been an active and dedicated member of the association, said J. Michael Horsley, president of the Alabama Hospital Association. “He is extremely deserving of this position, and we are pleased to have him join our board.”

Gore led the effort to consolidate administrative and operational functions of Marshall Medical Center North, Guntersville, and Marshall Medical Center South, Boaz, which led to the creation of Marshall Health System.

The Alabama Hospital Association, based in Montgomery, is a statewide trade organization that represents more than 100 hospitals and numerous other health-care providers by offering membership services designed to enhance the provision of health care in Alabama.
