3rd Place Honors Nationally

When it comes to competing, members of the Arab High School HOSA team take their roles seriously.  So seriously that they have placed first in state competitions for 21 straight years and in the top ten in national competition for the past 17 years.  HOSA advisor Margie Wooten says the Arab name carries a reputation that gets the attention of other competitors.

80 teams entered the competition at this years National Leadership Conference in Nashville.  The competition begins with a written qualifying round and progresses to a question and answer competition after the number of teams has been reduced to 34.

Margie Wooten and Betsy Washington serve as advisors to the HOSA students.
