Marshall
County Fugitive Arrested In Georgia
August 8, 2009
A Marshall County fugitive from a
Conspiracy to Commit Murder warrant was arrested by U.S.
Marshalls in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on August 6.
Salvador Villa Rodriguez,
29, of Franklin Tennessee, was arrested on a failure to appear
on conspiracy to commit murder warrant and was returned to the
Marshall County jail where he is being held without bond
according to Sheriff Scott Walls.
Rodriguez was originally
arrested September 14, 2008 in Louisiana and returned to
Marshall County in relation to a murder, where Alberto Trejo was
also charged with the crime.
According to Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls, Rodriguez
posted a ten thousand dollar cash bond in December of 2008 and
was released into the custody of U.S. Immigrations and Customs
Enforcement. Rodriguez was later deported and later re-entered
the United States. Rodriguez also failed to appear in Marshall
County Circuit Court to answer to the Conspiracy to Commit
Murder.
Various Marshall County law enforcement officers developed
information that Rodriguez was seen in Marshall County in June
of 2009. Walls said, “Sheriff’s Investigators and members
of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and U.S. Marshall’s have
been looking for him ever since."
The Safe Streets task Force is made of up investigators
representing every law enforcement agency in Marshall County, as
well as surrounding counties.
