Crash Claims Life

A 29 year
old Arab motorcyclist was killed Saturday
afternoon in a collision involving the
motorcycle that he was driving and a farm
tractor towing a large manure spreader.
Jeremy Blake Goss, of 139 Lexington Drive,
Arab, died instantly from the injuries
sustained in the accident. The
accident occurred at the intersection of New
Friendship Road and Mobb Hill Road near
Friendship Baptist Church.
Jason Tidmore,
driver of the John Deere tractor, was
traveling North on New Friendship toward
Union Grove and was making a left turn onto
Mobb Hill Road. Goss was head South
on New Friendship Rd when the motorcycle
slammed into the spreader. Tidmore was
not injured.
The accident is
being investigated by Alabama State
Troopers. Arab Police, Arab Fire &
Rescue, and Union Grove Volunteer Fire
Department assisted with the accident scene.
