Motorcycle - Car Collide Near Overpass

Both drivers were shaken up, but luckily no one was seriously injured when a motorcycle driven by Mark Chapmon, of Tower Drive in Arab, collided with a Chrysler PT Cruise driven by Rebecca Presnell of 3rd St NE in Arab.  Presnell was stopped to make a left turn from Cullman Road into the Arab Water Works parking lot when Chapmon's motorcycle struck the right rear of her car.  Presnell and Chapmon were checked by Arab Fire & Rescue personnel.  Neither driver required transport.

Arab Police are investigating the accident which occurred around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
