Handed Out At Chamber Meeting

Arab City Schools Superintendent presents Secondary Teacher of the Year award to Alana Burks during Arab Chamber of Commerce meeting.

Two Arab teachers were honored as teacher of the year during the Arab Chamber of Commerce annual meeting Thursday night.

Alana Burks received the Secondary Teacher of the Year award from Arab City School superintendent John Mullins.  Shannon Griggs was honored with the Elementary Teacher of the Year award.  Arab Junior High School principal John Ingram accepted the award on behalf of Mrs. Griggs who is hospitalized recovering from illness.
