February 15, 2010 Arab will face off against Wenonah High School at 1:30 pm Tuesday in the Pete Mathews Coliseum on the Jacksonville Campus. Wenonah defeated Springville in sub-regional play Saturday night by a score of 107-46. The Knights led by at least 15 points for a portion of the game but Southside pulled to within two points briefly in the fourth quarter before Arab began to pull away and Southside was forced to foul as the clock ran out. Jake Mann led the Arab scoring with 24 points. Mann was hot from the three point, area tossing in a total of 6 three point shots. Jonathan Embry followed with 15 points, Lake Graham added 10, and Blake Harbin contributed 8. Scoring was rounded out by John Richey with 4, and Connor Bedsole and Grant Lake with 3 each. Mugsy Howard led the Southside scoring with 23, followed by James Boland with 18.
