The Arabian Knights are 9-2 after winning last weeks 53rd Annual Holly Pond Thanksgiving Tournament, defeating Good Hope on Monday then falling to Brewer Tuesday night. The Knights will be in a key area game at Madison County on Friday.
The Knights took home the tournament championship trophy for the 2nd straight year after winning all three games at Holly Pond. Arab defeated theHolly Pond Broncos Thursday night 55-52, Cullman Friday 60-50 and Boaz in the Championship game 58-50 on Saturday. The Knights won over Good Hope 64-53 but fell to Brewer Tuesday 56-52. Blake Harbin had 15 for the Knights while Jordan Bowling had 19 for the Patriots in the Brewer game.
The Varsity Girls defeated Good Hope in overtime Monday 52-49 but lost to Brewer 75-53. Chelsey Smith had 31 for Brewer while Kylie Moore had 10 for Arab.
