6 Arrested For Manufacturing Meth

July 1, 2010
In a joint operation with Madison County Sheriff, New Hope and Owens Crossroads Police Departments, Marshall County Deputies arrested and charged six individuals with manufacturing methamphetamine at 681 Honeycomb Road, Grant, Alabama.

In this operation, all participating agencies had been gathering tips and information regarding that address. Upon arrival at the residence, four people ran out of the home and were quickly apprehended, and one man remained inside the home, according to Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls. Allegedly items needed to manufacture meth were found inside and outside of the home. As law enforcement was clearing the scene, another man arrived in the area on a motorcycle. That individual was in allegedly in possession of meth and precursor chemicals, he was also arrested and charged.

Those arrested in the raid were:

Brian Lynn Campbell, 59, 681 Honeycomb Rd, Grant, Alabama
David Allen Hampton, 42, 885 Bakers Chapel Lane, Guntersville, Alabama.
Heather Ann Green, 24, 405 Kennamer Cove Road, Woodville, Alabama.
Michelle Connally Guthrie, 42, 2614 Merrell Mtn Road, Grant, Alabama.
Rickey Dewayne Prince, 48, 7515 Hustleville Road, Albertville, Alabama.
Holly Jill Hughes, 35, 434 Word Mtn Road, Grant, Alabama.

All are currently being held in the Marshall County jail without bond pending a bond hearing before a Judge.

"This was a successful operation, we were able to get there and seize the lab before they started cooking. I am proud to have a close working relationship with surrounding law enforcement agencies. We all share a common goal, to keep our communities safe and rid them of illegal drugs and activities", Walls said.
