Photo special to Arab Today Alzheimer’s Services of Marshall County (ASMC) has recently moved it's offices to Hospice of Marshall County, Shepherd’s Cove, 408 Martling Road, Albertville. ASMC is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 volunteer organization working to promote awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and to provide support to Marshall County families coping with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Services provided by ASMC include: incontinence products delivered to the homes of qualifying patients; respite care for qualifying patients to provide their caregiver a time of rest; speakers for civic groups, churches, etc; and the ASMC website, www.asomc.org with information such as local support groups, a Caregiver Guide and a Resource Directory. There is no charge for ASMC services. All funding is provided through fundraisers, donations by corporate sponsors and individuals in Marshall County. You may partner with us by sending your tax deductible donation to: ASMC, P. O. Box 2842, Albertville, AL 35950. Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Phone 256-279-0053.
