	Mother Charged With Chemical Endangerment of New Born August 18, 2010 A new mother has been arrested by Marshall County Sheriff's investigators after she gave birth to child that has been exposed to meth amphetamine prior to birth. Whitney Leigh Holsonback of 24,502 Sunset Avenue, Albertville was charged with child abuse by chemical endangerment. Bond was set at $250,000. Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls said investigators have been working with DHR on this case since the birth of the child. According to a sherriff's department press release the mother and the child were both positive for meth. The child is being treated and monitored closely in an area hospital.
