Deputies Results In Arrest

Late Tuesday night, Marshall County Deputy Daryl Wilson was patrolling the Parches Cove area when he observed a man in a truck use the headlights to shine light upon a group of deer. Wilson observed the man exit the vehicle and shoot at the deer. The man was successful in killing one of the deer.
At that point Wilson pulled up and turned on his blue lights and the man re-entered his truck and fled the scene. Wilson gave chase. The suspect lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road, striking metal gates and fencing.
Jeremy Keith Stewart, 22, of Union Grove, was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was charged with DUI, Attempting To Elude, 2 cts Criminal Mischief, Illegal Night Hunting, Hunting by Aid of Motor Vehicle, Hunting From Public Road, Hunting Without Permit, and Illegal Possession of Prohibited Beverage.
Bond for all charges was set at $12,500.00.
