It was a good week for the Arab High School FFA at the 81st Annual Alabama FFA State Convention held in Montgomery and Auburn with the AHS FFA String Band and the FFA Quartet taking home honors.
The AHS FFA String Band won the state title in Montgomery on Wednesday, June 2. The group had previously won the regional competition last month at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.
The AHS FFA Quartet took 3rd Place in the quartet competition as well. Less than one point separated the three top quartets.
The AHS FFA Dairy Judging team placed 3rd in dairy judging. Megan Boyles placed 2nd in Equine proficiency
Benny Isom and Scott Butler are the Arab High School FFA instructors. Butler also works with the Arab Junior High FFA students.
