Vehicle Rollover Sends
77 Year Old To Hospital

A single vehicle accident on South Brindlee Mountain Parkway Wednesday morning injured a 77 year old Huntsville woman. Evelyn Welch, driver of the car, was transported to Huntsville Hospital. Welch's car left the roadway and overturned. According to Arab Fire & Rescue officials her injuries were not thought to be life threatening. The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. near Worley Brothers Recycling.

Update - Mrs Welch remained in Surgical Intensive Care at Huntsville Hospital on Thursday. She reportedly is suffering from broken ribs and a possible fractured shoulder.
