The Arabian Knights are 2 - 2 on the season after defeating Madison County 27-21 Friday night.

With 8:40 left in the first quarter the Knights put the first six points on the board but failed to add the extra point when the kick fell short. The Knight's second TD came with 1:15 left in the first quarter. This time the kick was successful giving the Knights a 13-0 lead. Madison County answered with a TD and PAT of their own with 6:44 to go in the 2nd quarter to make the score 13-7. Madison County added another 7 points after only 2 minutes and 30 seconds of play giving them a the lead at 14-13. Arab retook the lead with 1:20 left in the second quarter with a score of 20-14. As time expired in the first half the Knights managed another TD and led 27-14 going into the locker room. Madison County added the final scoring for the night with a TD and PAT with 11:11 left in the 4th quarter. The Knights held on for a 27-21 victory.

The Knights will face the Guntersville Wildcats this Friday at the Arab High School stadium. Game time is 7:00 pm. Click for game and band performance photos....
