3 Meth Labs Seized

On Monday afternoon, Marshall County sheriff’s investigators were following up leads on stolen property on Smith Lane in the Claysville area. During the investigation, they were able to recover stolen property that is valued at more than twenty thousand dollars. The recovery of stolen property will solve 4 burglaries in Marshall County that occurred in the Claysville and Grant areas, and will solve 2 burglaries that occurred in Jackson County.
In addition to the stolen property, sheriff’s investigators also found 3 meth labs at 3 separate locations while recovering the stolen goods. Two individuals were charged and transported to the Marshall County, where they currently remain pending a bond hearing.
Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and TVA Police assisted in this investigation.

John Paul Frey, 31, Pleasant Hill Road, Albertville, Alabama
Charges: Manufacturing Meth amphetamine, Burglary, and Theft
Malori Moneik Smith, 22, of Scottsboro, Alabama
Charge: Manufacturing Meth amphetamine
