LADIES’ NIGHT OUT
Enjoy a delicious complete meal, including entree, vegetables, salad, desserts, and bread. Participants will receive cooking tips while enjoying the meal and copies of recipes will be distributed to be used at home. This class is very popular, so register early.
Date: Monday, April 19

EXPLORING DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Would you like to capture better photos with your digital camera? This class will offer tips from basic to advanced - for all levels of photographers. It will cover camera operation, lighting, and compositions. A “field trip/photo walk will be included, weather permitting.
Date: Thursdays, March 25 - April 22
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Fee: $40.00

SLPITWEAVE CHAIR CANING
Each participant will learn to weave the bottom of a chair or stool out of reed using the herringbone pattern. Bring your own chair or purchase a small stool from the instructor. Space is limited, so register early.

COMPUTER TROUBLESHOOTING
Save repair costs by learning how to take care of simple computer problems yourself.

INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERS
Learn the basic skills you need to know in order to feel comfortable using your home computer.
Date: Tuesdays, April 6 - 27
Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Place: Arab High School Pre-Engineering Building
Instructor: Jennifer Manning
Fee: $45.00

BEGINNING KNITTING
Participants will learn basic knitting stitches, including knit, purl, seed stitch, stockinette, ribbing, garter, and cast on and off. A small sampler will be made.
Date: Tuesdays, March 23 - April 13
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Place: Arab High School
Instructor: Elise Brasseale
Fee: $50 registration fee, plus instruction book
Please bring a pair of size 9 or 10 knitting needles and one skein of worsted weight Red Heart Super Saver 4-ply knit and crochet acrylic yarn in any color.

FUNDING YOUR CHILD’S COLLEGE EDUCATION

ACT PREP
This class is designed to prepare students for the ACT assessment.

CPR TRAINING
Receive training in the American Heart Association’s Heart Saver CPR. Each participant will be certified and receive a completion card.
Date: Thursday, April 8
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Place: Arab High School Voc. Building
Instructor: Betsy Washington
Fee: $20.00; register early-space limited

RAPP (Relatives As Parents Program)
This program offers support and information for grandparents or other relatives who have become the primary caregiver for grandchildren or young relatives. Many services are offered that may assist you. Please call 931-9218 for more information.
