Lady Knights Roll Over Boaz

The Lady Knights wasted no time in putting the pressure on the Boaz Lady Pirates Friday night.  The Lady Knights led 21-10 at the end of the first quarter of play, 30-20 at the half, 42-35 in the third and 48-55 at the final buzzer.

The Lady Knights made 43.1% of the two point field goal attempts and 37.5% of three point attempts but were deadly from the free throw line racking up a 72.7% shooting percentage.

Alli Smalley lead the game scoring with a total of 25 points.  Smalley was 2 of 5 outside the three point line, was 5 of 6 from two point land and 5 of 6 from the free throw line.  Smalley pulled in 3 defensive rebounds and made 6 steals.

Kate Hadkova added 16 points and pulled in 6 offensive rebounds.  Hadkova was 7 of 16 in field goals and 2 of 3 in free throws.

Courtney Gibson contributed 8 points and 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  Gibson was 3 of 7 in field goals, 1 of three in three point shots and 1 of 2 from the free throw line.

Anna Huckaby tossed in 2 of 2 field goal attempts to contribute 4 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists.

Kathryn Whitlock added 2 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist.

The win against Boaz gave the lady Knights a 17 - 3 record.
