LADIES’ NIGHT OUT
Enjoy a delicious meal that will include soups, salad, and dessert. Participants will receive cooking tips and copies of recipes to be used at home.

CAKE DECORATING
Learn to decorate beautiful cakes for any special occasion.
Date: Mondays, October 19 - November 23
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Place: Arab High School
Instructor: Sara Harris of Sara’s Cake and Catering
Fee: $35.00 Purchase supplies from instructor or bring your own. Contact the Community Education Office at 931-9218 for more information about supplies and cakes.

HOLIDAY SNOWFLAKE
Each participant will learn to weave an intricate snowflake ornament out of white ash strips. These ornaments make great Christmas gifts.

CPR TRAINING
Receive training in the American Heart Association’s Heart Saver CPR. Each participant will be certified and receive a completion card.
Date: Thursday, October 22
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Place: Arab High School Vocational Building

Fee: $20.00 register early-space limited.

MAKING CHILDREN MIND WITHOUT LOSING YOURS
This 3 week workshop on reality discipline will prove to be an invaluable tool for discipline strategies that parents can use at home. Learn how to bring out the best in kids by doing what is best for them.

MICROSOFT POWERPOINT AND WORD
Feel more confident in the workplace with the Powerpoint and Word skills you learn in this class.
Date: Tuesday, October 20-November 10

MICROSOFT EXCEL
Learn the basic skills you need in order to efficiently use the spreadsheet software Microsoft Excel.
Date: Mondays, October 19-November 2

BEGINNING CROCHET
Beginning crochet will be taught. Participants will make a small sampler using several stitches. Then, participants will work on a prayer shawl.

EXPLORING DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Would you like to capture better photos with your digital camera? This class will offer tips from basic to advanced - for all levels of photographers. It will cover camera operation, lighting, and compositions. A “field trip/photo walk will be included, weather permitting.

RAPP (Relatives As Parents Program)
This program offers support and information for grandparents or other relatives who have become the primary caregiver for grandchildren or young relatives. Many services are offered that may assist you. Please call 931-9218 for more information.
