PARENT ALERT SEMINAR: INTERNET NETWORKING DANGERS
Parents need to know the potential dangers of myspace.com and other networking sites. You will be surprised what you don’t know! Topics of concern will be addressed for Internet networking sites: safety tips, predators, and how to monitor your child’s site.

LADIES’ NIGHT OUT
A delicious meal of salads and light desserts will be served. Receive cooking tips and copies of recipes to use at home.

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH
Learn basic words and phrases that will help you communicate in Spanish.

ART: INTRODUCTION TO PRINTMAKING
Learn to create you own series of art images using two different traditional printmaking methods. Anyone can do it!

WHEN BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO YOUR GOOD NAME - IDENTITY THEFT
Learn how to protect yourself against identity theft and learn what to do if you are victimized. There are many ways your identity can be stolen that you may not be aware of.

MICROSOFT PHOTO STORY 3
Learn to create exciting presentations from your digital photos, using digital effects, narration, transitions and background music to create a movie file. The created story can then be shared in a number of ways.

BUYING & SELLING ON EBAY
Learn tips and procedures you need to know in order to make money buying & selling items on the Internet.

WILLS, ESTATE PLANNING & ELDER CARE
Planning for the future is an important part of the aging process. This course addresses wills, estate planning, healthcare directives, and elder care issues in an informative and interactive setting.

CAKE DECORATING
Impress your friends and family by decorating beautiful cakes for all occasions.
Date/Time: Mondays, March 24 - May 5, 6:00-8:00 pm

Fee: $30.00. Purchase supplies from instructor or bring your own.

SPLIT WEAVE CHAIR CANING
Each participant will learn to weave the bottom of a chair or stool out of reed using the herringbone pattern. Bring your own chair or purchase a small stool from the instructor. Space is limited, so register early.

ACT PREP
This class is designed to prepare students for the ACT assessment.

FUNDING YOUR CHILD’S COLLEGE EDUCATION
(Scholarships/FAFSA information, etc.)
You can learn more about the dollars and cents of going to college by attending this class. Discover how to apply for federal grants, low interest loans, and the numerous scholarships available. Most families can’t afford to pay the increasing costs of a college education; however, there are resources available to you.

RELATIVES AS PARENTS PROGRAM (RAPP)
Today, a growing number of grandparents/relatives find themselves in a parenting role the second time around. This can be very challenging; however, there are many resources available to help make the situation easier. Come to this meeting and get the support you need.
