Old Timey Donkey Basketball Game at Fairview High School Gym, Friday, March 19th 7pm. Benefiting the track team. Local Pastors and community leaders will participate. Arab Park & Recreation Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Arab City Park - Saturday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. 4,000 eggs will be hidden in Arab City Park for this year's annual egg hunt, the event is free and open to the community. Children up to age 12 are welcome to participate. Helpers will divide children into age groups for the annual hunt. Cookies and lemonade will be provided by the Chamber of Commerce.
Arab Fire & Rescue Car Washes For "Relay For Life" - Saturday, March 20, 27, and April 3, 2010 - Arab Fire Station # 1. Each car wash begins at 8:00 a.m. All proceed go to Marshall North Relay For Life
Arab Polce Department Pursuit For The Cure - March 20th at the Baileyton "Good Time" Drag Strip Gates open at 12:00pm Track open 1:00pm to 6:00pm Spectators - $5.00 Donation Participants - $10.00 (All you can race) Children under 12 Free Concessions Available CARS MUST BE STREET LEGAL, Valid tag and insurance required. 50th Annual Miss Arab Pageant - Saturday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. The 50th Annual Miss Arab Pageant will be held Saturday, March 27 at 7:00 at the Arab High School Auditorium. Money raised through this event supports the Arab Band Program.
Class of 1960 Reunion - Believe it or not, it has been 50 years since we graduated from Arab High School in May of 1960! We are planning a huge celebration in late August. If any 1960 graduate has ideas for the celebration, please contact Betty Bobo Roper at broper01@windstream.net. We are look forward to seeing everyone who graduated with us!
Guntersville 49th Annual Art on the Lake - April 17 & 18, 2010. Art on the Lake features over 100 artists and crafters from around the southeast, food and games for the entire family and is the Longest, consecutive running event of its kind in the southeast. Proceeds benefit local scholarships. 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days, Guntersville Recreation Center, corner of Sunset Drive and Highway 69. $2.00 admission for adults.
