December 5, 2006
For the 2006 seniors, the Annual Arab Football Banquet wrote the final chapter in their high school football career Sunday afternoon.  Eleven seniors were honored during the program that filled the Arab Senior Center Sunday afternoon.  Each was awarded their football letter and game jersey.

It wasn't all about receiving.  The seniors presented signed footballs to coach Watt Parker and outgoing Arab Football Booster Club president, Sid Tidmore.  Each senior also gave the coaches a gag gift that illustrated a special memory from the past season.

The annual banquet serves as the culmination of the football season each year, with a catered banquet and awards ceremony honoring the cheerleaders and players who have lettered in football athletics.  It is also a time when standout players and cheerleaders are recognized for their accomplishments

Most awards were voted by the members of the football team with the exception of the Iron Man, Beamon Lyons and Scholar Athlete Award
