- Age 66 - of Guntersville passed away on Friday Morning,
March 12, 2010 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Albertville. Service for
Ms. Smith will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2 pm at Carr Funeral Home
Chapel with Dr. Donald Cotten and Rev. Tim Parrish officiating and Carr
Funeral Home Directing. Interment will be in Nixons Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation for Ms. Smith will be Saturday Evening, March 13, 2010 from
6 until 8 pm.at Carr Funeral Home.

Wilma R. Bryant - Age 83 - of Guntersville, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Barfield Health Care. There will be no local service.
Service will be on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10 am at Derfelt Funeral Home in Galena, Ks. Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Galena, Kansas. She is the mother of Roy Bryant of Guntersville.

Mrs. Willie Lee "Sister Bill" Harding - 84 - of Grant, passed away at her residence Monday night, March 8, 2010.
Family received friends begining at 12 noon Wednesday, March 10, at the Grassy Mountain Holiness Church in Grant.through funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11. Brother Jack Lynch and Brother Eddie Saint officiated with interment in Panquin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bro. Kenneth Ashley, Bro. Mike Ogle, Bro. Jimmy Black, Bro. Rayford Key, Bro. David Black, Bro. Chris Clark, Bro. James Moore, and Bro. Steve Baker. Honorary Pallbearers were the Bearden brothers.
Miss Velma Lou Troup - 81 - of Grant, and a resident at Barfield Healthcare of Guntersville, passed away Sunday, March 7, at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz, Alabama. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel with Bro. Buddy Mulkey officiating and Grant Memorial Chapel directing. Pallbearers were Ronnie Troup, Aaron Troup, Mike Smith, Ben Smith, and David Troup with interment in Free Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Shirley Veatrice "Pete" Pendergrass
- 88 - of Grant, died Monday, March 1, at the home of her daughter Bonnie Davidson at Swearengin. She was under Hospice care. The family held a private graveside service at Free Home Cemetery on Wednesday, March 3, with Bro. Anthony Barnes officiating, Grant Memorial Chapel directing.
