Mr. Jamie Len Blair -
passed away Monday, July 28, 2008 at the age of 13. He is survived by his Father: Tim (Tonya) Blair of Guntersville, Mother: Marsha (Cliff) Crawford of Albertville, 1 Brother: Chris Blair of Guntersville, 3 Step-Brothers: Michael Crawford of Douglas, Shawn Davis and Eric Davis both of Guntersville, 1 Step-Sister: Jennie Banks of Idaho, and Grandparents: Marshall & Denise Baugh of Painter, Kathy & Rodney Brown of Boaz, and Betty Todd of Guntersville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Guntersville Memorial Chapel with the Funeral arrangements Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 at 11:00 am at Guntersville Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jessie Tipton and Bro. Leon Castle officiating burial will be held at Old Fairview Cemetery.

Joyce Faye Pickett -
Age 60 of Maple Hill Rd., Arab, died Friday, August 29, 2008 at her residence. Memorial Service for Mrs. Pickett was conducted at 2 pm. Sunday, September 1, 2008 at Carr's Chapel-in-the-Pines with Bro. Ken Tyler officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing. Visitation for Mrs. Pickett was from 1-2 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2008 at Carr Funeral Home.
Joyce Faye Pickett
was born in the State of Tennessee, July 1, 1948; the Daughter of Herbert Cambron and Vinnie Bridges Cambron. She spent her life as a Mother, Grandmother, and Homemaker in her own home.
Joyce is survived by:
her Husband James (Jim) Pickett of Arab; her Mother: Vinnie Cambron of Arab; two Sons: William Edward (Billy) Pickett and Heith Pickett, both of Arab; one Daughter: Heather Pickett of Arab; 3 Grandchildren: Jenifer Stanley, Justin Parsons, and R. K. Pickett; and one Great-Grandson: Noah Hadden.

body was cremated.

Present announcements.....
Walls, James A of Scottsboro, 71.....Mr. James A. Walls, 71, of Scottsboro, AL, passed away at his residence Friday morning, April 25, 2008.
Visitation: Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, April 26, at the Grant Memorial Chapel from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service: The funeral service is Sunday, April 27, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Grant Memorial Chapel with Bro. Alton Willmon and Bro. Shirley Byrum officiating. Interment will be in the New Prospect Cemetery in Swearengin. Active Pallbearers are Ricky Byrum, Scott Dean, Richie Cothren, Sherman Lackey, Winfred Lackey and Victor Wayne Walls. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeffrey Cagle, Larry Guffey and Tony Guffey.
Survivors: Mr. Walls is survived by four daughters; Joan McCanless, Julia Darmer, Tersa James and Alicia Ikard; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Joe Lackey; and four brothers, Wheeler, Earl, Robert and Kenny Walls.
Preceded in death by: Mr. Walls was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lora Bell Walls; a daughter, Tina Walls; and a granddaughter, Whitney James.
