Mr. Douglas "Harold" Fleming age 66 of Arab passed away Sunday Feb. 5, 2012, at his residence. Funeral Service will be Wed. Feb. 8, 2012, at 2 PM at Arab First Baptist Church with burial in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church from 6-8 PM Tues. He will lie in state at the Church on Wed. from 10 AM until Funeral Time. The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to the Arab First Baptist Church Centennial Challenge at 502 North Main St. Arab, AL 35016.
Mr. J. B. Briscoe, age 81 of Arab Alabama passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center North. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Gober Funeral Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with burial in Mt. Oak-Ruth Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Ila Masters age 92 of of Joppa passed away Sat. Feb. 4, 2012. There will be no Service.
Mrs. Nora Dean Standridge age 94 of Arab passed away Sat. Feb. 4, 2012, at Marshall Medical Center North. Funeral Service was Sunday Feb. 5, 2012 at 2:3o PM at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be Tues. Feb. 7, 2012 at Noon at McMinn Memory Gardens in Athens, TN.

Mrs. Imogene B. Thompson age 85 of Huntsville passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at Windsor House Nursing Home in Huntsville. Funeral Service was Monday Jan. 30, 2012, at 1 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with burial in Little Vine Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 5-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Deborah Ruark age 46 of Arab passed away Mon. Jan 23, 2012, at her residence. Graveside Service was Thurs. Jan. 26, 2012, at 11 AM at Roswell Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Wills age 69 of Guntersville, the Summit Area in Blount County, passed away Mon. Jan. 23, 2012 at her residence. Funeral Service was at 2 PM Wed. Jan. 25, 2012, at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation was at the Church from Noon until Funeral time on Wednesday.
Mr. Byron Braz Bates age 92 of Union Grove passed away Mon. Jan. 23, 2012, at his residence. Funeral Service was Wednesday Jan. 25, 2012, at 1 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with burial in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was from Noon until Funeral Time on Wed.

Mae Corry, 88 of Union Grove, the Morgan City area died Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Crestwood Medical Center.
Mrs. Corry was born in Jackson County, July 27, 1923, the daughter of Allie and Mamie Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of Rescue United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Marshall County Home Makers Club. She enjoyed baking and decorating birthday and all occasion's cakes. She was a supporter of the Fire Department in Morgan City and the Brindlee Mountain Fire Department.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: James and Becky Campbell of Gurley; two daughters and sons-in-law: June and William Davenport of Ringgold, Georgia and Connie and Byron Clemons of Morgan City; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild; a brother: Franklin Bell of Huntsville and three sisters: Beulah Webb of Huntsville, Jean Sanders of Gurley and Lola Bozarth of Huntsville and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and many dear friends; preceded in death by her husband: Coleman Randolph "Randy" Corry (2001), a son: Kenneth Campbell, a grandson: Earl Campbell, her parents: Allie and Mamie Bell and two brothers: Luther Bell and Jack Bell.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Rescue United Methodist Church, Brother Jarod Andrews and Brother Woody Harbin, officiating. Burial will be in Rescue Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Gary Campbell, Corey Cheatham, Robert Cheatham, Adam Clemons, Charles Clemons and Joey Croft.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. She will also Lie-In-State at the Church from 10 to 11 the day of the service.
