Shirley Faye Allen age 60 of Arab, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at her residence. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Gober Funeral Chapel with burial in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2008 from 6 until 8 at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Gladys Dyson of Birdsong, passed away Thursday morning at her residence. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Gober Funeral Chapel with burial in New Canaan Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Gober Funeral Chapel.

Stanley Franklin Flack - Age 59 - of Hog Jaw Road, Joppa, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Flack was born in Marshall County, Alabama April 13, 1949 the son of Boyd Alvin Flack and Pauline Turner Flack. He was married to the former Karen Elaine Ballew, his wife of 8 years. He was a Custodian in Public Schools.
Stanley is Survived by his Wife: Karen Flack of Joppa; Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Frankie & Tish Flack, David & Jennifer Flack, Nathan & Jessica Smith and Matthew Hammack all of Lacey's Spring; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Stacy & Roger Berryhill of Huntsville; Nine Grandchildren; Three Brothers and Sister-In-Law: Larry Flack, Hilton & Marty Flack both of Arab and Doug Flack of Joppa; Five Sisters and Brother-In-Law: Nelma & David McLemore of Somerville, Clois Bishop, Vicky Graves, Renotta Wilson all of Arab and Charlotte Roberson of Huntsville; 17 Nieces and Nephews and a Host of Great Nieces and Great Nephews, Other Relatives and Friends.
Funeral Service for Mr. Flack was conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 from the Hebron Church of Christ with Brother Ray Humphries, officiating. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers were: Joe Cottle, Eddy Earwood, Steve Julian, Byron Miller, Bobby Morrow and Cecil Winn; Honorary Pallbearers: John Busbey, Johnny Coker, Sonny Crawford and Ken Densmore.
Visitation For Mr. Flack was Wednesday Evening, July 22, 2008, here at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m.

Edna Faye Whitehead - Age 66 - of School House Road, Baileyton died Sunday, July 20, 2008 shortly after 1:00 a.m. in her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Whitehead was born in Blount County, Alabama, November 9, 1941, the Daughter of Hugh Lee Shedd and Lucille Banister Shedd. She was a Homemaker, a member of Roswell Creek Baptist Church, married November 20, 1961 to Lowell Whitehead.
Edna Faye is survived by Husband: Lowell Whitehead of Baileyton; Two Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Charlie A. & Mary Whitehead and Phillip W. & Dianne Whitehead all of Baileyton; Four Grandchildren: Stephanie Dye, Hunter Whitehead, Tanner Whitehead and Briley Rose Whitehead and One Great Grandchild: Kamden Dye; Five Brothers: Wendell Shedd, Roy Shedd, Billy Shedd, Donald Shedd all of Baileyton and Hugh Shedd, Jr. of Holly Pond; Two Sisters: Patricia Peterson and Teresa Griffin both of Baileyton and was preceded in death by a Granddaughter: Mary Faith Whitehead.
Funeral Service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from the Eidson Chapel Presbyterian Church, Brother Duwayne Kelley and Brother Jeff Landers, Officiating. Burial was in the Eidson Chapel Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Directing.
Pallbearers were: Donnie Garrett, Billy Shedd, Donald Shedd, Hugh Shedd, Jr., Roy Shedd and Monroe Thompson. Honorary Pallbearer: Wendell Shedd.
Visitation for Mrs. Whitehead was from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday - July 21, 2008 here at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
