Legacy Concert Fundraiser to Celebrate The Life of Neal Terrell

Hospice of Marshall County (HMC) is planning a Legacy Concert on February 11th, 2012 as a fundraiser for Hospice of Marshall County in memory of Neal Terrell, a local businessman and community leader.

Terrell was very special to the Hospice of Marshall County family as he was not only a dear friend, but served as Chairman of the volunteer Board of Directors. His recent death leaves a void in the lives of many in Marshall County. Terrell spoke many times of having a benefit concert featuring The Gary Waldrep Band and concert pianist, Christopher-Joel Carter, IV. Unfortunately, due to scheduling difficulties, he never saw the concert come to fruition.

As it would have been Terrell’s birthday weekend, it is only fitting that the Legacy Concert be held on February 11th at 7 pm at the Albertville Fine Arts Center at Albertville High School. Tickets are $15 and are available for purchase at Boaz Music and Sound, Lake Guntersville Music Academy, Hospice of Marshall County Thrift Shoppe and the Hospice of Marshall County office as well as at the door the evening of the event.

Bluegrass and concert pianist- what a combination! Each artist has his own ‘story to tell’ if you will, about Neal Terrell’s impact on his life, and his eagerness to perform per gratis in honor of Terrell’s life.
