Arab Knights catcher, Patrick Taylor has received
a baseball scholarship from Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia.
A formal signing ceremony is being planned. Taylor who is a senior
will be attending Berry after graduation.
Offensively for
2006, Taylor played in 24 games and posted a
.394 batting average in 66 at bats.
Taylor had 26 hits with five doubles and 5
homeruns and 22 RBI's. Taylor finished
the season with an impressive .697 slugging
percentage and a .535 on-base percentage.

Defensively,
Taylor played 161 innings, made 18 assists
and 197 put-outs. His fielding
percentage was a whopping .961 percent.

Varsity Most Valuable Player, Marshall
County All-County Catcher, Marshall County
Most Valuable Player and East-West All-Star
