Sheriff's Office Sponsors
Christmas Toy Project

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office will once again sponsor the Christmas Toy Project for underprivileged families in Marshall County.

Registration forms will be available at the Sheriff's office beginning October 1 and continuing through December 10..

Please bring proof of residency (utility bill, car tag receipt, etc along with photo ID with name and social security. Proof of income will be required. Please bring a copy of your paycheck stub, SSI letter or 2007 tax return.

Due to the high cost of electronics these will not be available as gifts.

Applications will be cross-referenced with other agencies in order to avoid duplication of services. It is the goal of the Sheriff's Office to help those who are not receiving assistance from other sources.

Walls said he is appealing to the public to "Help us bring joy to others" during the holiday season by making donations of new toys, bicycles, or money. Donations should be brought to the Sheriff's office by Friday, December 5. Checks may be mailed to the Sheriff's office (Attention Judy Richeson) at 423 Blount Ave, Guntersville, AL 35976 Please mark envelope with “Christmas Toy Project Donation"
