Reward Offered In Douglas Vandalism Case

Last month someone burglarized and vandalized the home of Chad and Cindy Wigley on Hambrick Road in Douglas. The Wigley’s filed a report with Douglas Police, and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Douglas Police with this investigation.

The suspect(s) damaged the interior and structure of the home to the extent that the victims are no longer able to reside within the home. The exact dollar amount of the damage is still being determined.

Douglas Police and sheriff’s investigators have recovered evidence at the scene left by the suspect(s), and are currently following up on leads in this case.

The victims are now offering a reward in the amount of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this crime.
