Norma Burgett Honored With Surprise Birthday Party Norma Burgett was surpised by family and friends with a birthday party at the Arab First Baptist Church fellowhip hall on Saturday May 8th. The surprise party was provided by her children and sister-in-law Diane Garrison. The premise of attending a fake baby shower for a friend allowed the planners to pull off the surprise event. Family and friends traveled from across North Alabama to share the special time. Norma says her age is still a secret but a close look at the number 50 on her necklace may give some hint to the magic number. Happy Birthday "Bop" April 28, 2010 Jerry Bowman of Arab recently celebrated his 57th birthday. His grandchildren would love to wish Bop a Happy Birthday. He is very special to them. He works at Big Springs, Inc. in Huntsville and always finds time to have gum and M&M's for the grandchildren.
