Lose to Cullman 38-21

The Arabian Knights traveled to Cullman Friday night for the
final game of the their 2005 season hoping to end the season
on a positive note. The Bearcats, who were 6-3 going
into the game, scored on their first ball possession and ran
up 21 unanswered points before the Knights were able to
mount a drive and score with 23 seconds left in the first
half. The half ended with Cullman 21 and Arab 7.
In the second half, Arab managed
to add another 14 points but Cullman countered with an
additional 10 points to make the final score 38 - 21.
Arab finished the season with a
1 - 9 record.
The
Cullman Bearcats start a drive on their own
34 yard line and drive 34 yards in 6 plays
taking 1:53 off the clock. With 10:07 left
in the first quarter, Carson Williams passes
1 yard to Lance Walker for the Cullman
Bearcat touchdown and the John Nyquist PAT

With 40 seconds left in the third quarter
Carson Williams takes it in from the 9 yard
line capping off a 50 yard drive that took
3:11 and 8 plays.
Nyquist add the extra point and the score is
Cullman 35 and Arab 13.
With 1:45 left in the fourth quarter, John
Nyquist hits a 38 yard field goal and
Cullman is on top by the score off 38 to 13.
With 45 seconds left in the game, Heath Pope
hits Cody Tidmore with a 12 yard pass to cap
off a drive that started on Arab's 35 yard
line and covered 65 yards in 1:00 consisting
of 6 plays. Arab goes for 2 and it's
successful. Final score is Cullman 38 and
Arab 21.
