September 26, 2010
The Arabian Knights lost a hard fought game against the Guntersville Wildcats Friday night at Phil Isom Field in Guntersville. The Knights very quickly posted 14 unanswered points against the Wildcats as they seemed very poised, methodical, and in control, early in the game. Despite the early game control, the Knights seemed to lose their poise late in the 2nd quarter and penalties and mistakes would prove costly as Guntersville was able to come by to tie and then take the lead in the 3rd quarter. The Knights would mount one more drive to tie the game themselves but would allow Guntersville to take the lead for the final 28-21 loss.

The Knights scored first with 6:27 left in the first quarter on a 2 yard touchdown run by Evan Brock after driving 64 yards in 13 plays. The point after kick by Nathaniel Joyner was good to give the Knights a 7-0 lead.

With 10:02 left in the second quarter the Knights capitalized on a Guntersville fumble as Devyn Murphree picks up the ball and runs for a TD. The fumble was caused by Grant Lake. Full story....
