Kathryn Whitlock Signs Softball Scholarship With UAH

Arab High School senior Kathryn Whitlock has signed a softball scholarship to play shortstop for the University of Alabama in Huntsville Lady Chargers.  UAH coach Lorraine Steudeman traveled to Arab High School last week for the signing ceremony.

Whitlock who has played softball each year since the seventh grade has played in 154 games with an overall batting average of .442.  As a pitcher she has pitched in 48 games with an ERA of 3.34.  In addition to softball, she has played basketball and volleyball.  Click for career softball stats....

Whitlock is the daughter of Mike and Lisa Whitlock.  She is a member of the AHS Beta Club, FCCLA and the A Club and was selected as "Miss A Club". She plans to major in accounting while at UAH.
